Here’s an interesting little idea that popped up on my radar this week. Bedpost (currently in private beta) is a personal web application designed to give ‘insight into your sex life’.
In other words, it’s a sex diary.
Each time you have sex, you login in to the site and answer a few simple questions including: when did you start, how long did it last, who was it with and how was it for you. You can even tag you various encounters with keywords.
What you end up with is a little chart of your sexual experiences or, as the site says, a “rolling history of your sex life on which to reflect”. (And just for clarity, the chart in the picture is, sadly, not mine.)
It reminds me of those movies where the lothario gets caught out after the female lead finds his little black book full of womens’ names and scores out of ten.
The real question is how do they intend to make money from it? Suggestions in the comments below please.
