Ooh.com is an online notice board where anyone who offers trips, courses, classes and events can list their activities for free – and take direct bookings and payments through the site.
It’s not so much the direct bookings aspect that got me interested in this one (you can do that with eventbrite and countless other services) but rather the ‘browsability’.
If the idea is to find interesting and unique things to do, a quick browse might find you a photography course, a street art tour, a dance class or an independent film screening.
It’s a great way to find cool new things to check out in your own city – and perhaps even better if you’re traveling and want to avoid the cliched tourist activities. There are already over 1000 listed on the site.

Inspiration for Passionate Entrepreneurs
Which means it’s also a great opportunity for passionate and creative people to launch a new event and get a little publicity for it.
