Entrepreneurs rarely go wrong betting on the lengths people will go to care for and pamper their pets. Apparently this holds true even after death.
Having suffered the loss of a pet, Pati Moore was looking for an appropriate way to commemorate and remember her pet.
The option of cremation meant holding onto nothing more than an urn on a shelf, so she invented the Soft-Hearted Pillow; an urn alternative comprising a pillow and ‘multi-fabric enclosure in which a pet’s ashes are sealed, then, enclosed inside the pillow.’
“Soft-Hearted Products wants to offer bereaved pet owners another choice for memorializing their pet’s cremated remains.”
Although this idea won’t be to everyone’s tastes, it no doubt appeals to a sizable market and it has already won extensive media coverage.
