Be At TV – an online TV and social networking platform that works with a range of promoters and DJ’s to cover club nights and events.
In their own words:
Be At TV (“b@”) is a music-focused IPTV content producer and broadcaster which offers live, real-time viewing of venues, concerts, and events around the world.
The b@ portal is structured as a user-defined, multi-channel entertainment site where viewers can “be at” several live performances per night without leaving their apartment, dorm, or office.
Multiple camera angles and sound feeds help recreate the club experience – covering the DJ, visuals, entertainers and clubbers.
Although be-at.tv is very slick and professionally put together, it’d be interesting to see what could be accomplished with a less polished, perhaps even user-generated, approach.
Don’t Stay In – a hugely successful clubbing community – for example, uses amateur photographers to capture the atmosphere of club nights and events.
Could you adapt these ideas for your local market – helping promote local nightclubs or live events with your own TV channel? What about doing the same for business events or as an alternative to a local blog or community magazine?

Update:
In a nice little twist we got an equally nice little email on behalf of b@ letting us know that not only do they help bring the clubbing experience to you online, they also do the real thing too.
They’re launching a b@ club night on 29th Jan at Vendome, London which will run the last Thursday of every month and feature acts like the Swedish House Mafia – not to mention giving Londoners a first hand experience of how b@ works too.
