Adapting This Idea
OK, so ideas like this one have been around for a while now (including in the UK alone Go Lower and DietChef) – so why mention them?
Well, let’s think niche.
- Could this work on a local level – say as a business opportunity for a local deli, restaurant or ‘healthy’ cafe?
- Could you do the same for particular dietary needs – Halal, Kosher, veggie, vegan or whatever?
- Could you limit it to healthy lunches – delivered direct to office workers at their desks? Again, a potential opportunity for a local business to expand
Even if a concept has been around for a bit, if the idea is sound then there are always ways to adapt it to new markets with new twists.
The concept here is simplicity and convenience, taking seeming diificult dietary choices out of the customers’ hands and delivering it up on a plate as it were.

I thought I’d throw my ten pence in and say that i have just started the Detox in a box diet plan!! I am really surprised at the food, so far it tastes great, lets hope it will have the desired effect!!
